Causes Depression
To be aware of depression, it is essential to know the depression causes. Only when we know that we would be able to identify if depression is present in a person. Sometimes it may be a hereditary problem and it causes depression in the following generations. They are evident in cases of those affected by bipolar depression. As we are familiar that depression is associated with the moods and feelings, any change in the mental stability causes depression. Also seasonal change may cause depression, like the winter depression.
There are also other possibilities like the change in brain structures, brain functions, stress at home, work or at school also causes depression. Women are found to be depressed to a greater extent when compared to men. They are more stressed as they have unique responsibilities at work and at home, single parenthood, caring for children and aged parents. Hormonal factors like the menstrual cycle changes, pregnancy, postpartum period, miscarriage, pre-menopause and menopause also causes depression. They can be treated both medically and emotionally by the support from the family and friends. It would help in recovering faster both mentally and physically. It is best to know the causes and try to keep our state of mind motivated and involved in social activities.
